Spring is here! With the Skipark closed we thought it would be a good time to pull out our summer rentals. We are now renting stand up paddleboards, kayaks, bicycles, canoes & rafts as well as our winter rentals. We are also offering a shuttle service this year for kayaks and rafters. The McCloud River is running and ripe for kayaks and rafting. Lake McCloud "The Reservoir" is beautiful. The trout are hungry, we have kayaks set up for fishing as well as general cruising. Caving trips will begin again as soon as the local guides that we work with can get to them. Climbing trips are only a week or two away.


Come up and discover how awesome the area is without being covered in snow. If you have only visited in the winter, you are in for a pleasant surprise.

McCloud Outdoors retail location sells new & very slightly used outdoor clothing and gear. Our outdoors product lines include GOPRO, Marmot, Kelty, White Sierra, Slumberjack, Jetboil, Malone Auto Racks and many others.


We are fast becoming the most popular paddling store in Northern California and Southern Oregon. Our Paddling lines include Extrasport, NRS, Kokatat, Seals Sprayskirts, Bending Branches & Carlisle Paddles. We carry a full line of boats from Ocean Kayak, Necky Kayak, Old Town and Bicsport.


We rent kayaks, Canoes, bicycles, rafts, backpacking, hiking equipment, snowshoes and camping gear.


We work with local outfitters & guides to offer guided trips and outings to the area's outdoor attractions such as snowshoeing, camping, rock climbing, fishing, caving, shooting, kayaking, and rafting.
